Cooperation Should Come From The Heart

Image
Before we get any kind of advancement or promotion in life, we need to have earned the right to it. There are no free gifts in life, nor there are any short cuts to success of a lasting nature. Being worthy of any kind of responsibility requires an attitude of service to others. We earn a right only when we have given cooperation to others from our heart.

Work with Peace and Overcome Negativity

Image
The easy way to overcome any negative trait or habit is to work with virtues. In order to overcome negative tendencies the usual tendency is to make effort to remove them. But it is found that the more we think about them even if it is to remove them, we find ourselves becoming more aware of them. This makes the influence of our negativity stronger. The solution lies in making effort of working with virtues. For example, instead of saying we will not work with anger we will now practice working with our inherent peace. For this we need to make it a habit to work with peace so that it emerges naturally even in difficult situations.

Never Write an Email when you are Angry or upset

Image
The Internet – specifically, e-mail—has done wonders to increase our capacity to communicate. With lightening speed, we can now write letters, share ideas and even close deals. The benefits are astonishing. There’s a downside to e-mail, however, that’s important to be aware of. The problem is, it’s tempting, when you’re mad or upset; to fire off an e-mail that you might very well live to regret. In a reactive or upset state of mind, or when you’re lacking judgment or perspective, it’s easy to act impulsively rather than with composure and wisdom. In the blink of an eye, you can confuse someone, hurt their feelings, enrage them, or even destroy a relationship. The good news is, the flip side of this issue is also true. If you’re mad at someone and are tempted to share your feelings via e-mail – but you manage to resist – your restraint can pay enormous dividends. Who knows how many relationships are ruined, or at least adversely affected, every day, by someone clicking “send” inste

Concentrate on the aim and move ahead

Image
When our Focus and Concentration is on our aim, we will continue to progress. Sometimes as we move along we suddenly stop. We no more find the progress that should be there in our life. At such times we don't really understand what the reason is. We do try to bring about changes but it doesn't always work and we find ourselves stagnating. When on a journey, we are sure to come across many scenes that are beautiful or distracting. But when we know where we have to go we will never be distracted but will move on appreciating each scene that comes our way. In life too, when we are faced with a situation that is not in keeping with our aim we need to pay special attention not to get carried away with such side-scenes.

Think Positively About The Present

Image
The one who is simple is the one who is free from pain. When I am simple I am able to be free from pain or hurt even in adverse situations. I am able to take benefit from the wealth of experiences accumulated over the past without feeling the pain. With simplicity I know that I need to remember the past only to the extent that I have to learn from it. When something goes wrong and I find myself thinking about it again and again, I need to remind myself that all the past experiences are only for me to learn from them. The past is finished and I don't have to undergo the sorrow again thinking about the past repeatedly.

Knowing Yourself truly Is the Doorway to Freedom

Image
There is nothing more inevitable than the graying of hair and the crinkling of skin. Resisting it is like trying to hold back the tide of the ocean. Accepting it is the way into a graceful life and the possibility of true Leisure! Our lives are mostly without leisure as we succumb to the marketing men and their determination to convince us that the tide can be beaten back, at the very least, kept at bay. As a consequence we count the grays and measure the length and depth of the wrinkles. We spend our time and attention on the surface of our forms, and create the habits of anxiety and worry as they inevitably deteriorate. But when we truly know ourselves as spirit within the form, all those subtle tensions are dissolved. We never age, never grow old, never die - only our bodies do. Knowing ourselves as we truly are is the doorway to freedom and to the graceful acceptance that we are destined to inhabit and play many roles in many bodies. Is that not both a liberating and a relaxing in

Positive Thought For Constant Self-Progress

Image
Normally we tend to associate success with what we get, rather than how much effort we put in. So sometimes when things don't turn out the way we expect them to, we tend to have negative feelings because of the thought of being unsuccessful. So we tend to stop putting in further efforts for success. When we put in accurate efforts for the success of every task, we naturally try to do the best. Because of our own contribution, others too help us and contribute whatever they can to achieve what we set out to do. So there is success in everything. When we do the right thing, we will be able to experience constant self-progress, even if the result is not what we have expected.

Cool And Calm Mind Gives You The Right Perspective

Image
The usual response to negative stimuli in the environment is to react negatively. The impact of such stimuli on the sense organs is negative, which brings out negative behavior too. The one who is able to spend a few moments in silence before responding to situations is to be a master who is free from negativity. When I am a master I am able to remain stable in all situations. I have the practice of calming my mind and looking at the situation in the right perspective. My mind grows strong in its commitment to peace and truth in action. I don't allow the sense organs work according to the previous conditioning. Instead I consciously monitor, giving them right direction.
